Forged through 20+ years of relentless drive.
The system behind LinkedWithin was built over the years — each lesson learned added a new element to my life system, all building toward one purpose. Here's how the dots connect.
Long before business, there was a boy who wanted to be like his father — and a childhood that demanded I grow up fast and dream big at the same time, equal parts challenging and electrifying. That challenge-seeking spirit became my default setting. It's why I don't flinch easily, and why I push when others pause.
Basketball channelled that spirit — my competitive edge, my energy, and, in my mind, my road into the business world. Then two severe knee injuries ended the game and forced my first great reinvention: straight into business, with no mentor, no roadmap, and no idea where it would lead. My only fuel was faith, a relentless mindset, my family, and the love of my life.
I was never entirely without guidance. Since 2004 — back in my basketball days — I had been watching Dr. Ibrahim Al Feky, the Jim Rohn of the Arab world, almost religiously. The love of this topic led me to start listening to world-renowned names like Jim Rohn himself and many others. Self-development became a lifelong habit long before it became a company. Finding purpose while handling day-to-day life challenges demanded a lifelong habit of continuous learning — and over many years of relentless learning I was developing a personal system, long before it became LinkedWithin. I always wanted a system — that's why I wrote down every element I found practical and useful to enhance myself, my life and my family. I never wanted the momentary hype that fades after a video ends; I wanted something practical, useful and lasting.
For years I balanced full-time work, study, family and business — building ventures, working across governments, and self-learning relentlessly — while facing the kind of tests that reorder a life, including the illness of someone I love. That season pushed me to my limit and nearly broke me. It also stripped away everything that wasn't essential and showed me, with brutal clarity, what truly matters.
In 2025, after years of pain, trial, error and daily learning, my purpose finally crystallised: LinkedWithin. As Steve Jobs said, “you can only connect the dots looking backwards.” I can see every dot clearly now — and the picture is even bigger than I imagined.
For 20+ years I hunted for my purpose relentlessly — while tackling everything mentioned. I found it: LinkedWithin. Finding purpose is hard. Mine is to help people find theirs while navigating life — through LinkedWithin. Everything comes at a cost — but for me, it's worth it to reach my purpose in life.
